About Julie Rochester

Born and raised in South Carolina, Julie graduated from the Charleston School of Law in 2009 and obtained her LL.M. from the University of Glasgow in Scotland in 2010.  She has practiced criminal law in South Carolina since 2012, both as a defense attorney and former prosecutor.  She has handled hundreds of cases from traffic violations up to violent offenses including drug trafficking and murder.  Julie will work tirelessly to ensure you are in the best legal position possible.

Julie served as the Assistant Solicitor for Mental Health Court in Berkeley County from its start in 2020 until 2025.  This gave her the opportunity to work closely with Probate Court and understand the complex issues that arise with mental health disorders.
